Nayab Midha is a Hindi Poetess from India. She was born in Sri Ganganagar Rajasthan on 13 September in the year 1996.
Nayab completed her schooling from Sri Ganganagar & left for Delhi to become an engineer. She completed her engineering from BPIT, IP University, Delhi. She even worked at infosys for two years post her graduation however she couldn’t find her calm & passion in her work then.
Nayab’s poetry journey started in her early years. She wrote her first poem in 9th grade in her school’s creative writing competition. She claims that it’s not you who discover art, it’s art who decides to make a home in you.

She started performing her poems in slam poetry contests during her college years. She’s won many slam poetry contests at DU’s different colleges such as Gargi College, Shahid Bhagat Singh College, Shree Ram Center of Commerce, Delhi Technological University. She’s won both silver & gold at IP university’s annual festival, Anugoonj & many more.
Reciting poetry gave her purpose, she started performing at various open mics in Delhi. Her first video was released on Canvas Literature Club’s Youtube Channel back in 2018. It reached about a thirty thousand people.
Nayab’s show “The Nayab Show” is a success & one of its kind poetry storytelling show. Nayab’s is living her life inspiring & motivating people through her words & thats what she feels her purpose is.
Her words have inspired millions of people, as she is the first female spoken word artist to cross 1 Million+ viewers on Instagram.
In 2020 After working at Infosys or should I say rather struggling at creating code, she realised she only wants to create art.
She left her full time job to per-sue poetry & covid hit us. However since then she never went back to her IT Job. she’s worked for & with many brands & brought them to use poetry as a way to spread their story, creating campaigns, managed artists, she has organised poetry events for FNP Media, also worked as an AD for a short film called Versus of War, her hard-work & hustle is a true testament of her passion towards spoken word.
Nayab believes that words can change the world for good and she’s definitely proving it writing. Her poems like “Tum Khoob surat Ho” , “Muskurao”, “Nani Ki Kahani” and many more have found their place in many hearts. Nayab has currently more than a million followers on Instagram & over a lakh subscribers on Youtube.
